    All-Weather Outdoor Learning Philosophy

    At Marylebone Village Nursery, we believe time spent outdoors is essential for children's wellbeing. Rain or shine, wind or snow — nature is our classroom.

    Research consistently shows that outdoor play significantly benefits children's mental health. Being in nature reduces stress and anxiety, improves mood, enhances focus and concentration, and builds emotional resilience. Fresh air, natural light, and freedom to explore help regulate emotions and promote calm and happiness.

    Packed Lunch Policy for Outdoor Days

    Children will need to bring their own home-packed lunch. Due to us being outdoors most of the day and on the go to explore London at times, packed lunches allow us the flexibility to enjoy meals wherever our adventures take us — in parks, forests, and beautiful outdoor spaces across the city.

    Hot tea will be provided at an additional cost for those who would like a warm drink during the day.

    We are happy to provide guidance on healthy, balanced packed lunch ideas and encourage parents to discuss any dietary requirements or allergies with us during your visit.

    Packed Lunch

    Please provide a nutritious, balanced packed lunch from home that's easy to eat on the go during our outdoor adventures.

    Healthy Snacks

    Include some healthy snacks such as fresh fruit, vegetables, or other wholesome treats to keep little ones energised throughout the day.

    Hot Tea (Optional)

    Hot tea can be provided at an additional cost. Please let us know if you would like this option for your child.
